๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Server Hardware

Server (MB name TBC)
The main box running Proxmox VE bare-metal. The core of the homelab. [Hypervisor Host]
CPU: Intel Core i5-7500
Quad-core workhorse keeping all the LXC containers running smoothly. [Processor]
RAM: 32GB DDR4
Plenty for running Proxmox, the Debian media VM, and multiple LXC containers simultaneously. [Memory]
Storage: 2ร—4TB HDD, 1TB HDD, 256GB M.2, 512GB SSD
HDDs now managed directly by the Debian media VM via ZFS. M.2 for Proxmox OS, SSD for VM storage. [Storage]
Network: 1GbE
1 Gigabit ethernet. More than enough for homelab traffic and SMB shares. [Networking]

๐Ÿ’ป Desktop Setup

Windows 11
Main desktop OS. Where all the SSH sessions, tinkering, and web browsing happens. [OS]
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
8-core, 16-thread beast. Handles gaming and homelab management without breaking a sweat. [Processor]
GPU: RTX 3060 12GB
Great for gaming. 12GB VRAM leaves plenty of headroom. Might passthrough to a Proxmox VM someday. [Graphics]
RAM: 32GB DDR4
Plenty of headroom for gaming, running VMs, and having too many browser tabs open. [Memory]
Storage: 1TB NVMe
Fast NVMe SSD for OS and games. Speedy enough that Windows actually boots quickly. [Storage]
Monitor: 27" 165Hz KOORUI
27-inch 165Hz panel. Smooth enough for gaming, big enough for split-screen server terminals. [Display]

๐Ÿ“ Raspberry Pi Setup

Raspberry Pi 4 Model B
Compact ARM single-board computer running 12 self-hosted services 24/7. Surprisingly powerful for always-on service hosting with minimal power draw. [SBC Host]
CPU: ARM Cortex-A72 (4-core 1.8GHz)
Efficient ARM cores handling a dozen services simultaneously without breaking a sweat or the electricity bill. [Processor]
RAM: 4GB LPDDR4
Enough headroom for twelve services running simultaneously. Rarely hits the ceiling. [Memory]
Storage: MicroSD
MicroSD card for the OS and service configs. Lightweight and gets the job done. [Storage]
